I bought these to replace a cheap pair that I purchased because the Apple ear buds don't fit in my small ears. I am extremely happy with my purchase. The red is very attractive, the sound is good and the fact that you get a number of different sized earbuds is nice since the smallest pair fit me. These buds also come with small drag string pouch which is appreciated. The cord feels durable and the buds are comfortable. They sit in the air in a way that I've never experienced before, but it works well. I thought I lost my first pair and bought another. I wasn't at all upset after finding the "lost" pair as I like having a pair to carry in my purse and one to have at home. I would highly recommend.
I have ordered the red earbuds in this model and have not received them yet. But I am able to review this item because I did have a pair of the black ones in this model and used them for four or five years before they quit working. I used them when listening to music on YouTube Spotify on my iPad.
I love these headphones! The cords are a little thin for my liking, but they don't seem weak or of bad material. The sounds is fantastic, definitely recommend these.
these are pretty good for ear buds. they have good bass which is rare for ear buds and it's not muddy bass like what you would find on beats and skullcandy headphones. the midrange is little bit on the softer side which is ok for the music I listen (mostly rock) and the treble is clean but that shouldn't be a suprise. if there is one thing ear buds can do, it's treble. and they are my favorite color. and they cancel out background noise really well. the only complaint I have is that there is some really bad cable vibration. walking around with these is almost impossible because the cable bounces around across my chest and I can hear nothing but that.
I've bought 5 to 30 dollar in the ear headphones and sound quality just wasn't there. I even bought Bose over the ear headphones two time in the past that cost me 140.00 but they tend to fall apart after a few years. Awesome smooth base and crystal clear high's but I wasn't going to waste money on Bose anymore. I wanted bang for the buck in the ear headphones with great base and good high's. Didn't want cordless either do to battery charging and weight. I saw these headphones after searching for awhile and had good review. When I got them I played my new retro wave music like "Mega Drive" even "Perturbator" that has heavy base and I was blown away how the high's was sharp and base was more then I was expecting. I'm pleased with these headphones. Arkar's build quality and sound hasn't changed since I last used a cassette Walkman back in the late 80's to the early 90's.
